ORBEA DENNA M40

The Orbea Denna M40 is a modern and powerful electric gravel bike for riders who want to ride farther, climb more easily, and explore roads they might otherwise have turned away from. The combination of sporty gravel geometry, a powerful Shimano motor, and wide 45 mm tires makes the Denna just as at home on fast gravel roads as it is on asphalt, forest trails, and long adventures.

The powerful Shimano EP801 motor provides natural and responsive assistance when you need it. Together with Orbea’s integrated 420 Wh battery, you get an electric gravel bike that maintains a clean and sporty design while the motor provides plenty of assistance on long and steep climbs. Up front is the Orbea Denna OMR ICR fork, made entirely of carbon fiber. It contributes to low weight, precise handling, and greater comfort on rough terrain. Internal cable routing further enhances the bike’s clean and refined appearance. This M40 uses a robust Shimano CUES 11-speed drivetrain with a U6000 Shadow rear derailleur and a Shimano CS-LG400 cassette with a full 11–50-tooth range. The wide gear range is particularly useful on an e-gravel bike, providing both efficient gears for fast riding and very light gears when the road starts to climb. One of the M40’s major strengths is its wheels. Orbea has equipped the bike with OQUO Road Control RC25PRO wheels, which, together with Vittoria Terreno Dry Gravel Endurance 700x45c tires, provide a great combination of speed, comfort, stability, and traction. The wide tires make a big difference when the pavement ends and the terrain gets rougher. Shimano RS405 hydraulic disc brakes provide safe and controlled braking power in varying weather and terrain. The carbon fiber seatpost and Selle San Marco Shortfit 2.0 Sport saddle also contribute to comfort on longer rides.
